Follow-up: dz6 snap name dispute pending since 3 July 2026

Hello Snap Store team,

I am following up on my pending request for the dz6 snap name, submitted on 3 July 2026. The request has remained in “Pending review” status for two months, and I have not received an email or dashboard update.

I represent Mente Binária, the non-profit organization that creates and maintains the upstream dz6 hex editor:

We would like the dz6 snap name transferred to our official publisher account so that users can install the authentic upstream software from the Snap Store.

Hi there, the initial rejection was due to a snap name length issue, not due to a reserved name. Please increase the length of your snap name, i.e. “dz6-editor”.
