Hi, I am a new user of snap and I just install snap on my mx linux but when I try to test my system by this command snap install hello-world I got error message as follow
error: cannot communicate with server: Post http://localhost/v2/snaps/hello-world: dial unix /run/snapd.socket: connect: no such file or directory
Anybody here can help me to solve the problem ?

i fear not much has changed since:
I get this messagene whenever I try to install anything:
error: cannot communicate with server: Post http://localhost/v2/snaps/spotify: dial unix /run/snapd-snap.socket: connect: no such file or director
When I run $systemctl start snapd.service, I get:
Failed to start snapd.service: Unknown unit: snapd.service
See system logs and ‘systemctl status snapd.service’ for. details
$ systemctl status snapd.service
Failed to get properties: No such interface ''
