Perhaps someone would care to update the list of supported snapd versions on the various distributions as described in this doc page:
Both Ubuntu and Fedora are out-of-date and I suspect the others even more so.
Also, I’m told that Ubuntu actually re-exec their snapd so that it automatically uses the latest snapped snapd. Perhaps the same strategy should be adopted by the other distros, or even better, bake it into snapd itself so it becomes an integrated feature. This way there would be no need to maintain this support overview list and users would benefit from running latest version. Maybe there are technical reasons for not doing so but I’ll just put the idea out there.
