I updated to 19.04 and I am using Wayland.
I noticed a slight difference in the way fonts are rendered in snaps vs non-snaps apps. It is most noticeable in the System Monitor, for example. The fonts are lighter. Maybe some difference in hinting or subpixel rendering.
Is it a known issue?
Here is an example of what I am talking about:
On the left the snap version of gedit, on the right the .deb. The same version.
The snap version is clearly different and, in my opinion, worse. Look at the line numbers for example.
The same thing happens in all snap apps I have.
An another clue: it only happens in the Wayland session.
