Cleaning up old revisions

So recently I received an automated info that one of the dependencies of my snap (aquila) are old and I should rebuild it. This is nice and very useful, however the mentioned affected revisions were built during the time when I was figuring out how the automatic builds work and wasn’t aware that you can restrict the architecture targets. I have dozens of builds for exotic architectures that I never planned to support. Therefore, the first 80 revisions of my snaps are somewhat of a random scraps and leftovers of the learning process, revision 81 being the first “good” one.

Is there a way to clean them up from snapcraft (if not from CLI then perhaps as an one-off act of superpowers by the admins?) Can closed architecture be reopened later again?

Thank you in advance,

Dominik

Hi there, revisions cannot be cleaned up via deletion, but they can be unreleased, either by releasing a newer snap, closing the channel, or closing the architecture. I’ll follow up with information on whether a closed channel can be reopened.

Hi, a closed arch can be reopened by simply releasing a new revision for that architecture. Thanks!

Thank you a ton! I closed architectures which are not needed. I wonder how closing all channels and re-opening them would affect machines where the snap is already installed, but I guess I will not try to go that far.
