cevelop (https://www.cevelop.com/) is an IDE which needs to execute other programs in an unconfined environment. That makes classic confinement a necessity.

+1 from me. I understand Alan is working on this with a view to long-term handing this over to upstream. As an IDE it needs wide access to run arbitrary binaries.
