Can you update some gnome apps?

Hello
I saw some gnome applications that have their snaps outdated and it’s great if their packages were in their latest version, among those are:
gimp (exception)
glade
gnome-clocks
gnome-font-viewer
gedit
gnome-chess
gnome-klotski
gnome-mahjongg
gnome-mines
gnome-sudoku
simple-scan

Yes, those will be updated soon. I’m setting up CI to automatically build them from the stable branch upstream into the candidate channel with regular QA cycles to promote them to stable.

So if I understood correct, the error message "“unable to init server: Could not connect: Connection refused”
and
“(glade:1593): Gtk-WARNING **:15:28:01.296: cannot open display: localhost:10.0”
is related to the ongoing update???

given that post you replied to is more than 3 years old, one would hope that the update has happened a few years ago by now …

if you see issues with the snap packages, you should really open a new thread …

Hi, no I just tried to install glade on my new Raspberry Pi 4. Before with glade 3.22 it was a little tortous and so I hoped the upgrade to 3.38 is a little more comfortable.

I understood to open a new thread and will do so.

Regards

Klaus
