I would like to announce a call for testing for the unofficial Prime95 snap. Prime95 is a volunteer computing project dedicated to searching for Mersenne primes. It is also used in overclocking to test for system stability.
How to install
or, in a terminal:
snap install prime95
What to test
- Can you properly launch the application?
- Can you run the stress test without issues? (Errors due to resource exhaustion is not considered to be a bug)
- Do you notice any problems while running the application?
