The snapd snap builds fine with this, notably with the PR https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/pull/7904 and build-base: core and not with type: snapd.

I’ve been using this snapcraft for the last week, building anything that doesn’t require the gnome-3-34 extension, and it builds great. Projects I’ve built with snapcraft 3.10: gnome-sdk, snapcraft, gnome-system-monitor, epiphany, gnome-calculator (maybe there are a few others too). So good job!

I have checked that https://bugs.launchpad.net/snapcraft/+bug/1862318 is fixed in the release. I am also using snapcraft in candidate on a daily basis and I have not seen any problems so far with this version.
