Hello Snapcrafters! The Snapcraft team is delighted to announce that version 3.1.1 is now available.

The release notes
are minor as it is a paper cuts focused release.

The snapcraft snap for 3.1.1 currently available in the candidate channel, to try it out run:

$ sudo snap install --candidate --classic snapcraft

Of, if you already have it installed, to try it out run:

$ sudo snap refresh --candidate snapcraft

Is there a convenient way to use this in docker? The snapcore/snapcraft images still use snapcraft 2.43.1 AFAICS.
