Bazaar SNAP (to easily get Flatpak apps on Ubuntu)

No one wants to use terminal and cryptic coding messages now when you can just click this thing on Snap Store and get it. Anyone who expects some terminal use for general people in modern times is … whatever

Software stores/package managers are not allowed to be packaged as snapps from what I know.

but with tha store-tui was possible, do you know what was the reason?

I tested this store-tui, I didn’t see any way to install anything, it just serves to see information about the Snaps that are on Snapcraft.

To add to what Kyuyrii said, another point against Bazaar is that it relies on a system package to be installed, in this case flatpak. I don’t see how this would be approved.

why would it need a system package?

or probably i misunderstood the purpose. installing flatpak and the bazaar flatpak via snap? why not use gnome software or discover?

If Flatpak isn’t installed on your system, you won’t be able to install Flatpak apps.

It’s like trying to install Snap apps without having snapd installed.

So Bazaar would need access to apt to install the Flatpak package, add Flathub, and only then install Flatpak apps.
