Auto-connection request: hardware-observe for plex-htpc

I’d like to request an auto-connection for the hardware-observe interface for plex-htpc. Plex HTPC is a Plex client that uses Qt, Chromium and libmpv as its core technologies. If this interface is not connected, the application crashes with the following message:

pcilib: Cannot open /sys/bus/pci/devices/0000:00:03.1/resource: Permission denied

As far as I can tell, this comes from Chromium itself, not our code, so I have little influence over it. We do have the browser-support interface but that doesn’t seem to help on its own.
