Hello and happy 2026.
I am requesting to add ‘removable-media’ privileged auto-connections to our ‘cluemaster-videoplayer-core’ snap application that runs only on Ubuntu CORE os. This is a standalone Ubuntu CoreOS device that is tightly integrated into our business software API services and business applications. https://snapcraft.io/cluemaster-videoplayer-core
Our software is B2B and not for general public use, also set unlisted on the Snap Store. It is only installed on our custom PC devices sold by us at ClueMaster, for integration into our hardware units. We have added a new feature to our software that allows users to plug in a USB stick with videos numbered with file names. This will override the current looping video playlist with the ordered files on the USB stick, enabling offline use to change videos. We integrated a USB auto-mount monitor service, and our snap application detects the mount or unmount and queues up the video files for immediate playback.
Thank you for considering our request.
