Atom 1.54.0 fails to launch on Ubuntu 18.04.1

I got the lastest update for Atom (270) and now it wont launch anymore. There is no output at all. It will just return 0 immediatly and nothing else happens, as far as I can tell.

There’s a bug report in the atom repo that’s been closed due to being snap-related https://github.com/atom/atom/issues/21866.

I don’t want to switch to a different distribution channel, so could you please fix the snap?

I just refreshed to 271 but the problem remains. Are there any relevant logs or other further information that I can contribute?
