check-cgminer is a Nagios monitoring plugin. Monitoring plugins usually have the naming convention check_something
. Could I get the check_cgminer
alias for check-cgminer?
+1 for granting the check_cgminer alias to check-cgminer. Interestingly, there is a cgminer deb in the Debian/Ubuntu archive which is a bitcoin miner which is completed unrelated to this snap.
@reviewers - can others vote on this?
2 votes for, 0 against. Granting alias for check_cgminer. This is now live.

I’m curious as how you made this plugin to work with nagios.
I wrote about it here and would love some extra eyes on this if I’m doing this wrong somehow.
I’m trying to get my snapped nagios check ro run, but I’m not able to get it to execute.
I’m not 100% sure why yet, but I suspect this has to do with this.
Works for root
root@juju-04a5eb-5:# /snap/bin/nagios-substrate.blocksync -H ‘kilt-rpc.dwellir.com ’ -c ‘1’ -w ‘2’
Block sync OK - 1172476/1172477
Fails for nagios
root@juju-04a5eb-5:# sudo -u nagios /snap/bin/nagios-substrate.blocksync -H ‘kilt-rpc.dwellir.com ’ -c ‘1’ -w ‘2’
Sorry, home directories outside of /home are not currently support…
